What if trying harder was never actually the assignment?
Most of us treat spiritual growth like self-improvement — one more habit to fix, one more version of ourselves to build.

POSITION 1 — THE TURN
Every arc about dying to who you were needs an honest starting point — not the death, but the distraction that comes before anyone's ready to let anything die. "Oh God, You have my attention" is that starting point. Before anything gets buried, someone has to admit how long they've been running. This is that admission.
POSITION 2 — THE CHOICE
The Turn only means something once it's followed by an honest, ongoing choice. This track supplies it — "I'm changing, I'm changing, I'm changing, I've changed." Not a testimony about a finished transformation. A confession that the road stays narrow, and has to be chosen again, every day after the turn.
POSITION 3 — THE WASHING
Once you're actually choosing this daily, it stops being invisible — and the world will have a word for what it sees. "I've been washed, I've been washed in the blood" is the moment this arc needed: specific about the accusation, specific about the truer word underneath it. This is the song the whole theme's third position takes its shape from.
POSITION 4 — THE NEW MAN
A washing only becomes real change once something underneath it actually dies. This track is that death, named plainly: "I thought my old man was alive but he's dead... I'm a new man in Christ now." Not managed. Not improved. Crucified — and something entirely new standing in his place.
POSITION 5 — THE DEVOTION
A person who's turned, chosen it daily, been washed, and let the old man die doesn't just stay standing — they land somewhere. This track is that landing: "it's only ever been about You, Jesus." Not a request. Not one more thing to prove. Settled devotion, because it was only ever Him.
