Here's what I know about testimony:
It doesn't require perfect language. It doesn't require theological credentials. It doesn't require a story that sounds impressive enough to matter.
It requires one thing.
You were there.
1 John 1:3 — "That which we have seen and heard we proclaim to you." The authority of the witness isn't earned. It's given by the fact of the encounter. You were present. You saw something. You know what happened. And that is the only qualification the testimony requires.
John 9:25 — the man born blind, after Jesus healed him, when the Pharisees came asking questions. "Whether he is a sinner or not, I don't know. One thing I do know. I was blind but now I see." No theology. No argument. No defense of doctrine.
I was there. This is what happened.
That is the most powerful witness statement in the New Testament. Not because it's sophisticated. Because it's specific. Because it's the word of someone who was present for something undeniable.
Your testimony doesn't have to sound like mine. It doesn't have to involve a cath lab or a clinical death or an encounter that crosses into territory human language can't hold.
But it has to be yours. Real. Specific. The thing Jesus did — in your story, in your life — that you were actually there for.
That's what the world is waiting to hear.
Not your argument for God.
Your witness of what He did.
GO TELL IT.
