Carry Something for Someone

Carry Something for Someone

Here's the last check-in before we close out NOTHING WASTED.

Where This Challenge Has Been

On Monday, you named one specific gift from Jesus you'd stopped noticing. On Thursday, you let yourself be carried — telling someone in your church family what you'd been carrying alone. Today's touch completes the shape of the week.

Receive. Be carried. Now carry.

Touch Three: Carry Something for Someone

Pick one act of faithfulness for somebody else — and do it where nobody will see it.

Some ideas:

  • Pray for someone by name, every day this week, without telling them.
  • Do the chore at home or at church that nobody ever thanks anyone for.
  • Sit with the person nobody else sits with.
  • Send encouragement anonymously.
  • Show up for the visit, the meal, the errand someone needed — and don't post about it.

It doesn't have to be big. It just has to be carried.

Why Unseen?

Because the finale's whole promise is about the unseen work. "When I see Your face, I'll know that nothing went to waste." And 1 Corinthians 15:58 makes that promise without exception: your labor in the Lord is not in vain. Not the public labor. Not the private labor. None of it.

Doing something nobody sees is the clearest way to practice believing that.

Tell the Truth About Where You Landed

If you carried something, that's worth celebrating — and you don't have to say what it was. If you're still deciding, that's honest too. Either way, the table you sat at this week was meant to lead somewhere. This is where.
