THE INVENTORY — Nothing wasted. No failure or mistake. He was the artist the whole time.
THE FIRE STILL BURNING — If I'm not dead You're not done. Greater things are still to come.
THE DECISION TO SPEAK — I've tasted and seen and kept the recipe quiet. No more.
KNOW YOUR NAME — Every generation will know. We tell the stories.
This week's memory verse is Psalm 71:18: "Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, my God, till I declare your power to the next generation, your mighty acts to all who are to come."
Till I declare.
That's not a nice sentiment. That's a prayer with urgency in it. The prayer of someone who knows the window doesn't stay open forever.
