What do you do when you've prayed the obvious prayer, and the mountain still hasn't moved?
Not a hypothetical. A real question, for a real Friday morning, for whoever's standing at the foot of something that won't budge.
Most of us have prayed it. Move this. You parted seas. You raised the dead. You can move this. And then — nothing. The mountain stays exactly where it was.
MOUNTAINS DON'T MOVE drops this morning.
Five songs. One arc. For the one who's done everything right and still ended up here.
The journey moves like this:
THE MOUNTAIN IN FRONT OF ME — Before anything else, you name it. The diagnosis. The marriage. The grief that won't lift. You stand at the foot of it, honest about exactly what it is.
I DON'T ALWAYS LIKE HIS PLAYS — The wrestling. You believe He's good. This doesn't feel good. Both are true, and you stop trying to make them agree.
WHAT IF RESCUE ISN'T REMOVAL? — The question that changes everything. What if the blessing comes through the raindrops? What if the mountain staying isn't God failing you?
UP, DOWN, AROUND, THROUGH — The declaration. Maybe He moves you up and over. Maybe down and through. Maybe around. Maybe He breaks you through it. Either way — He hasn't failed you yet.
THE LOVE THAT HELD ME — The mountain might still be standing. But the love that held you here is the same love that holds you through. And now you're ready to hand that truth to someone else.
This week's memory verse is 2 Corinthians 12:9: "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."
The thorn stayed. The grace was the miracle all along.
