FAITH BUILDER: WHAT ZECHARIAH 4:6 ACTUALLY MEANS
"Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit," says the LORD Almighty.
This verse was spoken to Zerubbabel, facing a rebuilding project that looked impossible by any normal measure. God's answer wasn't a strategy upgrade. It was a redirection: the outcome was never going to come from might or power in the first place.
That's worth sitting with, because it means the well running dry in Position 1 wasn't a failure of your strength. It was a demonstration of a truth that was always going to be true eventually — might and power were never the actual source, even in the seasons they looked like they were working.
This reframes the fear underneath this whole arc. The fear says: if I can't do it, nothing gets done. The verse says: it was never going to get done by your might or power anyway — so finding that out isn't the crisis it feels like. It's the redirection to the actual source.
This week isn't about finding more strength. It's about believing the outcome was never resting on yours.
