This week's NOTHING WASTED arc is built to be experienced, not just read or watched. Here's an activity for Position 3, THE PRESENCE, that turns today's teaching into something your body actually does.
Lay It Down
Grab a piece of paper. Write down the heaviest thing you're carrying right now — just one thing, honestly. It might be a worry, a grief, a situation you keep trying to fix, or a weight you've carried so long you've stopped noticing it.
Fold the paper.
Wait for the Line
Press play on "The Lord Is Here" by Tiffany Hudson. Listen until the song reaches this line: "If you got burdens, lay 'em all down."
When it does, physically set the paper down — on a table, a chair, the floor. Then take a step away from it.
Say out loud: "The Lord is here."
Don't Pick It Back Up Early
Leave the paper where it is until the song ends. Notice how strong the urge is to go get it, to keep holding it, to check on it. That urge is worth paying attention to.
You're not throwing it away or pretending it's solved. You're practicing what it actually feels like to set something down in the presence of Someone who's really in the room — not a memory, not a distant idea, but a risen Savior who said, "Where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them" (Matthew 18:20).
Do This Along With Us
If you're catching up on this week's arc, Chapters 1 and 2 are linked below. Once you've done it, comment "LAID IT DOWN." What was on the paper can stay between you and Him.
