Position 2 of HE FOLLOWS ME DOWN: THE RELAPSE.
The song: "Follow Me Down" — Sansone & BODIE.
This is the song the whole theme is named after, and it's the most honest song in this arc. Most songs in this genre rush past the struggle straight to the victory. This one stays in it — admitting, plainly, that the last time wasn't actually the last time. The same mistake, run back until it backfires again.
That kind of honesty is rare in this space, and it's exactly where THE RANSOM had to lead. Freedom being already true doesn't mean the falling stops. What this song insists on is different — that even in the exact moment of falling again, He's already there. Not waiting at the top for a stronger version of you to climb back up. Already down, in it, with you.
