Position 3: THE HALLWAY

Position 3: THE HALLWAY

Position 3 of HE FOLLOWS ME DOWN: THE HALLWAY.

The song: "The Hallway" — Samantha Ebert.

After naming the relapse, the instinct is to demand an instant fix. This song refuses that instinct. Instead of asking God to end the waiting, it asks Him to be present inside it — teach me how to dwell right here, instead of get me out of here.

That's a genuinely different prayer than most people default to. It doesn't treat the in-between as wasted time to escape as fast as possible. It treats the hallway itself — the waiting room, the traffic light, every place that feels confined — as a place He's still God in, not just the destination on the other side of it.

This position matters because rushing past the hallway to get to the choice, or the rising, skips something the arc actually needs: sitting honestly in the middle, without a fix in hand yet.
