That's not what this position is describing.
No longer I. Not "improved I." Not "recovered I." The song is specific about this being a replacement, not a repair — and that distinction matters more than it sounds like it should, because it changes what you're supposed to be waiting to feel.
If you're waiting to feel like your old self again, you'll wait a long time — because that was never the promise. The promise was something new living where the old thing used to run the show. You'll keep noticing moments where it isn't you steering anymore, and that's not a malfunction. That's the position working correctly.
