Position 5 - THE OVERFLOW - "The Jesus I Know Now" by Brandon Lake & Lainey Wilson

This is what it sounds like on the other side.

Not doctrine. Not a theological position. A testimony. From someone who has made the whole journey — from the handed-down Jesus to the one you can't stop talking about — and who is standing on the other side of it, unable to contain what they found.

"Can't believe I was missing out on the Jesus I know now."

That's not guilt. That's overflow.

Brandon Lake and Lainey Wilson close this arc the only way it could close — with a declaration that holds the entire journey inside it. The angry Jesus who kept score. The empty worship and the hollow prayers. The moment of encounter. The slow, uncomfortable grace of learning He actually likes you. All of it is in this song.

"Ain't shaking a fist, ain't raising a brow." "I found a friend who hangs with the misfits." "I am who You say I am, and it ain't what I do."

That last one — that's THE UNLEARNING still doing its work, even here in THE OVERFLOW.

Because the journey doesn't stop. You don't graduate from learning who He is. But there's a difference between the person who inherited a Jesus they never met and the person who is living in the overflow of one they actually know.

You were made for the overflow.

Not the performance. Not the rules. Not the fear.

The friend.

And here's the thing about the friend — you can't keep Him to yourself. When you've actually met Jesus, you don't share a doctrine. You introduce someone.

Who do you need to introduce?
