What has God asked you to do that felt too big for you?
Not the general sense that God calls us to hard things. The specific thing. The invitation that landed in your life and immediately surfaced every reason you weren't the right person for it.

Hillsong's Oceans has been sung in churches for over a decade — but it's easy to sing it without counting the cost of what it's actually asking. "Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders. Let me walk upon the waters wherever You would call me."
Wherever You would call me.
That's an open-ended surrender. It's not a prayer that gets prayed comfortably. It's the prayer of someone standing at the edge of deep water with an invitation in front of them that they cannot fulfill on their own.

A real calling pulls you out past where your feet can touch, so that what happens next can only be explained by the One who called you out there.
