Every arc has to start somewhere honest. This is where LEAN NOT starts.
Franni Cash doesn't open with a solution. She opens with a question most of us have asked and never answered: "Why am I always such a menace to my own understanding, when I know that You get me?"
That's the position. Not "I have a problem I'm working on." Something rawer: I can see the pattern happening in real time — the fear built sky-high, the trust-falling I sabotage right when it's offered — and I still can't think my way out of it.
This is what makes Position 1 so important. It doesn't ask you to have an answer. It asks you to stop managing the question quietly and finally say it out loud: why do I keep working against the very thing I say I want?
Psalm 27:14 says to "wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart." That's not passive resignation — it's active honesty. You don't get to Position 5 by skipping this one. You get there by admitting, plainly, that your own understanding has been the menace all along.
