The Drop: DARKEN THE DOORWAY Is Here

The Drop: DARKEN THE DOORWAY Is Here

When's the last time you walked back through a door you'd been avoiding?

Not a rhetorical question. A real one — for anyone who's got a doorway they've been circling. A church they stopped attending. A conversation they keep almost having. A version of faith they walked away from because somebody, somewhere, handled something sacred carelessly.

Most of us have one. A doorway we've decided isn't safe to walk back through.

DARKEN THE DOORWAY drops this morning.

Five songs. One arc. For anyone who's stopped expecting an answer.

The journey moves like this:

THE SILENCE — The honest starting point. Asking, and asking, and the room staying quiet.

THE WOUND — Naming where the silence actually started — a place, a person, a moment that broke something sacred.

THE TURN — The harder question: whose voice actually gets to define me?

THE SURRENDER — Not a visitor's version of the heart. All of it, handed over.

THE TAKEOVER — The silence breaks. Every locked room, finally His.

This week's memory verse is Psalm 34:18:
"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."

Close. Not far. Not behind a door you have to earn your way back through.
