Most weeks, The JDOT Five is a five-position arc. This week it's six — here's how SO MUCH BIGGER moves, position by position.
Position 1 — JUST GET TO TOMORROW (\"One Day At A Time\" — Cade Thompson)
No five-year plan. No clarity about next month. Just the mess in front of you, and the modest goal of making it to the next hour without it catching up. This isn't weak faith — it's honest faith.
Position 2 — THE VIEW SHIFTS (\"Point of View\" — Tierra Kennedy)
Not a fix. Just a wider frame around the same picture, with the honest crack still showing on the hard days: \"on the days when it don't feel that way, my mind just needs a change of scene to look up and see.\"
Position 3 — A REALLY BIG GOD (\"Really Big God\" — Canyon Hills Worship)
The hinge the whole arc turns on. The small prayers finally get named as small: \"Why would I pray small prayers to a really big God?\" Small faith was never a problem — it's the actual starting size faith is allowed to be.
Position 4 — HANDED OVER (\"Something Good\" — Sydni Alexander, NITRO X, Joshua Lazer)
Believing He's big is one thing. Actually handing Him the outcome is another. \"You can hold my life. Whatever is wrong, You'll make it right.\"
Position 5 — SO MUCH TO BE THANKFUL FOR (\"So Much\" — Life.Church Worship)
The landing point of the main arc — not because everything got resolved, but because gratitude finally became the honest response instead of the performed one.
PLUS ONE — SET FREE (\"Set Me Free\" — God Behind Bars/Ryan Ellis)
The benediction. Looking back at the whole journey, gratitude wasn't the end of the story. It was freedom.
This week's memory verse — Jeremiah 32:17 — is the whole arc in one verse: \"Nothing is too hard for you.\" Not because the mess changes first. Because of who's being asked.
