This week's JDOT Five is for the one who never left.
Not the prodigal. Not the one who walked away dramatically and had to find their way back. This arc is for the elder brother — the one who stayed, who showed up, who kept doing all the right things while something underneath quietly changed.
THE EXPOSED HEART.
What God sees when no one else is looking.
Five positions. Five songs. One arc that goes underneath the surface.
THE HOLLOW PLACE → THE HONEST CRY → THE EXPOSURE → THE SURRENDER → THE WAKING
God doesn't wait at the surface. He goes underneath. He sees the motive behind the ministry, the performance behind the faithfulness, the heart of stone hiding behind everything that looks like devotion. And He doesn't look away from what He finds.
He flips the tables.
This week's memory verse is Ezekiel 36:26: "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh."
He's not interested in patching the surface. He's after what's underneath.
Five songs. One journey. Press play.
