New theme, NEVER WOULD'VE KNOWN — five songs, one arc, moving from noise to a home where nothing's left to want. This post is for the experiential activity tied to Position 3, HOW GOOD GOD IS — the reversal at the center of this week's whole arc.
THE REVERSAL LIST
Grab paper and a pen. Draw a line down the middle.
On the left, write: "What I would have removed." List two or three hard things — past or present — you would have erased if God had let you.
On the right, write: "What I never would've known." For each one, write what you now know — about God, about yourself, about anything — that you only know because that hard thing happened.
Sit with both lists side by side. You're not being asked to feel grateful for the pain. You're being asked to notice it wasn't wasted.
Close by reading the right-hand column out loud, one line at a time, ending each one with: "Not spared. Shown."
