This week's JDOT Five is for the one who hit the actual end of themselves.
Not the dramatic fall. Not the calculated rebellion.
The place where self-sufficiency just... runs out.
You didn't plan to be here. But here you are. On the floor. Holding onto the outstretched hands because without them — you cannot stand.
And the thing nobody tells you about the floor?
It's not the end.
It's actually the beginning.
This Week's Journey
THE FLOOR — Say It Now by NEEDTOBREATHE Broken, faded, on your knees. The honest place. The starting place.
THE THIRST — Living Water by Sam Wesley When the substitutes are stripped away and the thirst gets honest — He shows up. Voice like thunder. Grace like rain.
THE DEFENSE — Silence the Enemy by Nick Bays & Temitope Peters The encounter draws opposition. But His voice becomes the weapon. Trembling hands lifted. The enemy has no ground here.
THE FIGHT — Alleluia by Chandler Moore & Chris Brown When He's the loudest thing in the room, praise becomes warfare. Singing in the morning. Singing in the battle. That's how I fight.
THE THRONE — King of Kings by Terrian & Eli Soares This is what the floor was always building toward. Not defeat. Surrender. Hands open. Everything laid down. The Lion of Judah roaring.
From broken and undone — to surrendered at the throne.
This Week's Memory Verse
Isaiah 6:5, 8 —
"Woe to me! I am ruined!"
That's the floor talking.
Then — an encounter with the Holy.
Then —
"Here am I. Send me."
The undoing and the commissioning. In the same passage.
The floor was always the way to the throne.
