Here's a way to make this week's arc tangible, not just something you read about.
STEER OR FOLLOW (5 minutes, alone or with your group):
Grab paper and a pen. Think of one small, ordinary decision coming up today or tomorrow — nothing dramatic, nothing high-stakes. A conversation. A plan for the evening. A choice about how to spend the next hour.
Write two columns. On the left, write what "steering" would look like — you deciding the outcome, running it the way you'd run it on your own understanding. On the right, write what "following" would look like instead — asking first, waiting a beat, letting someone else set the direction.
Sit with both columns for a minute. Notice which one your hand wants to reach for by default.
Then choose the right column. Today. In that specific decision.
Debrief, if you're doing this with others: What made following harder to choose than steering, even in something small? What did you notice about the decision once you'd made it?
This is CAUGHT UP IN THE MOVE in practice — not a dramatic surrender, just an ordinary choice, made on purpose.
