THIS WEEK'S ACTIVITY: WHAT'S BEHIND THE MASK, OUT LOUD
New here? FULLY KNOWN is this week's JDOT Five — five songs, one arc, about the gap between being seen and being known. Here's a way to make this week's arc tangible, alone or with your group.
What you need: what's behind the mask, the thing you named in Touch One. Paper. A quiet ten minutes.
How it works:
1. Write the thing behind the mask at the top of the page.
2. Underneath, write what you've been afraid would happen if it got said out loud — the specific fear, not a vague one.
3. Underneath that, write 1 Corinthians 13:12: "then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known."
4. Read all three lines out loud, in order — the truth, the fear, the verse.
5. Notice: the fear doesn't disappear because you read a verse. But it does get smaller next to something true about who's actually holding it.
This is the bridge between Confession and Surrender, made physical instead of just felt.
