This Week's Experiential Activity: THE MID-SENTENCE

THIS WEEK'S EXPERIENTIAL ACTIVITY: THE MID-SENTENCE

Grab paper and a pen. This one takes five minutes and works whether you're alone or in a room full of people.

Step 1: Write the sentence you're currently stuck inside — the one about the thing that would still be true if nothing interrupted it. Write it in full, no editing.

Step 2: Stop writing mid-word, wherever you land. Literally cut the sentence off, even mid-syllable if that's where five seconds lands you.

Step 3: On the next line, write two words: but God.

Step 4: Leave it unfinished. Don't complete the sentence today. The point isn't resolution — it's the interruption itself, on paper, staring back at you.

Come back to it Thursday. You might be surprised what's different about how you want to finish it by then.
