POSITION 1 — CAPTIVITY
Every arc about rescue needs an honest starting point — not the rescue itself, but the thing being rescued from. "The castle I built's made of mortar and grief" is that admission. Before anything gets interrupted or replaced, someone has to actually say the room is self-built. This is that word.
POSITION 2 — THE COLLAPSE
Captivity only means something once it's followed by an honest unraveling. This track supplies it — "I fall apart, and You don't turn away." Not a solution. A presence that doesn't leave, met without a single condition attached.
POSITION 3 — NOBODY BUT GOD
After the room and the collapse, there has to be a reversal — mid-sentence, credited to exactly one source. "Nobody, nobody but God" is the moment this arc needed: specific about what doesn't get the credit, and specific about what does.
POSITION 4 — REPLACED
