"Not from yourselves."
Ephesians 2:8 isn't just the memory verse for FOUND BY GRACE — it's the entire arc in one sentence. For it is by grace you have been saved. Through faith. And this is not from yourselves. It is the gift of God.
Not from yourselves.
You didn't manufacture the faith. You didn't generate the grace. You didn't find your way back through willpower or determination or finally getting it together enough to deserve what was waiting for you.
It was given.
To you. While you were still out there. While the wandering was still going. While the distance had stopped feeling like distance.
The gift came out to find you.
That's FOUND BY GRACE.
