A done-for-you, text-based group journey through music and Scripture.
Your People Are Already on Their Phones. Meet Them There.
No room to book. No slides to build. No prep night.
Just a group thread, a song a day, and seven pre-written texts that take your people from an honest admission most of them have never said out loud — to a rest that finally answers what all that striving was actually for.
THE JDOT FIVE TEXT CIRCLE is the simplest way to lead people through a meaningful arc together.
Here's How It Works.
You download the leader guide. You start a group text. Every morning for seven days, you copy one pre-written text and paste it into the thread.
That's it.
Each text has a song link, a short thought on why that song matters for the arc, and one question — either to reflect on privately or respond to in the thread. The conversations that happen in a group text thread around the right song and the right question are some of the most honest ones people will have all week.
By Day 7, your people will have walked through something real together — without anyone leaving their house.
This Week's Theme: NEW MAN.
He didn't ask you to try harder. He asked you to die — so something new could live.
NEW MAN is for the one who's spent years trying to fix the same thing about themselves — recommitting, slipping, recommitting again — convinced the answer was always just a little more discipline. And for the one who's already on the other side of that cycle, still not sure it's okay to believe the old pattern is actually gone for good.
Most people in your group are carrying this the same way: something they keep managing instead of believing could actually be finished. What almost nobody does is consider that the whole strategy — trying harder — was built on the wrong foundation from the start.
Five songs. Five intentional stops along the way. Seven days.
The arc begins with an honest admission — the thing most people have been quietly running from without naming it as running. It moves through what it actually takes to keep choosing change daily, once the initial decision has worn off. It arrives at the moment their life becomes visible enough for people to react — and reframes that reaction as confirmation, not condemnation. It hits the hardest, most important turn of the week: not one more improvement plan, but an actual death of who they used to be. And it closes in a rest most people have never let themselves fully feel.
The songs are curated in a specific sequence for a reason. Each one opens something the previous one set up. By Day 7 your people will have walked through an arc that takes them somewhere real — not just listened to a playlist.
From the honest admission — to a rest with nothing left to prove. That's NEW MAN.
Who This Is For.
Friend groups — a handful of people doing something intentional together without needing to coordinate schedules.
Co-workers — a workplace group text that actually goes somewhere real for one week.
Small group leaders — a lower-lift option between sessions, or a standalone week for a group that needs something accessible.
Youth leaders and ministry teams — a mid-week touchpoint that meets people where they already are.
Anyone who wants to lead something meaningful — without a lot of infrastructure around it.
If you have a group thread and 2 minutes a day, you can lead this.

This Comes From a Life, Not a Curriculum Department.
On May 13, 2021, JDOT Pine died. Jesus sent him back with five words:
"There's still so much for you to do."
He came back to a calling that made no sense in a body already failing. Primary Progressive Aphasia — a condition that takes language from a man whose entire ministry runs on it.
JDOT knows what it means to keep managing something instead of believing it's actually finished. He knows the exhaustion of recommitting to a fight with no end date. And he knows what it costs — and what it produces — to actually stop trying harder and let something die.
THE JDOT FIVE TEXT CIRCLE is built from inside that story. Every text. Every question. Every song in the sequence.
The death is real. JDOT knows. And now your people can walk it — in the thread they're already in.
